Once the product is packaged, moving along the conveyor at high speed is often difficult. Particularly in the case of light cello packages. They slip and slide making automated pick and place systems impossible. Our oil-free, quiet Regenerative vacuum pumps are used to create suction to hold the product on the belt. An air plenum is built under the belt, creating a vacuum chamber. Holes are drilled in the belt to deliver the suction to the package, holding it firmly in place. This system is often used on right angle belt transfers.
